THE SALVATION ARMY OSHAWA FOOD BANK
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” — Matthew 25:35
The Salvation Army Oshawa Food Bank, located at 45 King St. E. in Oshawa (with entrance on Albert Street), is here to provide compassionate, emergency food support to residents of Oshawa and Port Perry. We understand that unexpected challenges can arise, and our desire is to offer help with dignity, care, and respect during those times. Assistance is available by appointment, and first-time visitors are asked to complete a simple registration process so we can best serve each household’s needs.
Clients receive a three- to four-day supply of food, including a variety of non-perishable items and fresh products when available. In addition to food support, hygiene products and infant supplies may also be provided to help care for the whole family. Our goal is not only to meet immediate needs, but to offer encouragement and hope to those we serve. If you or someone you know requires assistance, we invite you to contact us—we are here to help.
