Connect, Belong and Serve Together
The Salvation Army Oshawa is a place to connect and belong. We are a community of people from all walks of life who gather to worship God, build meaningful relationships, and walk alongside one another through every season of life. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a community to call home, you are welcome here.
Being a part of Oshawa Temple has helped in my spiritual growth and connection with practical Christianity. I enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, inspiring sermons, heartfelt, soul-lifting and faith-.living worship as well as the love and care shown to everyone in the community. Oshawa Temple is a place where true faith, encouragement, and support are experienced.
What I like most about Oshawa temple is the community that has been built here. Whether it’s the band, songsters, worship, or just being in the congregation, everyone is welcomed and loved. Our church is one of the best at that and is what I enjoy most.
What I enjoy most about being part of Oshawa Temple is the sense of family, love, and support within the church community. Since I joined the church family and got involved in the band and songsters I have grown spiritually, musically, and personally through the encouragement of the people around me. Oshawa Temple is a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, and given opportunities serve and grow..
I enjoy being a member at Oshawa Temple as I feel welcomed and supported by the Corps. I love the music ministry from the band and enjoy being a part of the Songsters. The words and music enable me to praise God and think about what God has done for us. One of our songs, “By Our Love’” by Andrew Mair, has the words that say it all.. what it means to have God’s love surrounding us all the time. That’s what the Corps is all about.. Showing God’s love to one another and being there through the good and difficult times.
