Every promise we can make, every prayer and step of faith,
Every difference we can make is only by His grace.
Every mountain we will climb, every ray of hope we shine,
Every blessing left behind is only by His grace.

CHORUS:
Grace alone, which God supplies;
Strength unknown He will provide;
Christ in us, our cornerstone –
We will go forth in grace alone.

Every soul we long to reach, every heart we hope to teach,
Everywhere we share His peace is only by His grace.
Every loving word we say, every tear we wipe away,
Every sorrow turned to praise is only by His grace.

There are many definitions for the word grace in its religious connotation. It can be “God’s unmerited assistance to mankind for his regeneration”. It can also be “a state of sanctification enjoyed through Divine grace” or “a virtue coming from God”. In this song about doing good to others, one might think of God’s enabling us: “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Let’s face it, no look is really complete without the right finishes. Not to the best of standards, anyway (just tellin’ it like it is, babe). Upgrading your shoe game. Platforms, stilettos, wedges, mules, boots—stretch those legs next time you head out, then rock sliders, sneakers, and flats when it’s time to chill.
